Security Solutions for Large Organizations / Heavy Use

The Barrier1 models 100, 200 and 300 were designed for heavy network usage and larger organizations. The hardware is suited for carrier environments as well.
Technology Features
The series features a 2U form factor and includes:
- Dual 64-bit processors
- 4GB RAM
- 80GB SCSI RAID disc
- Purpose-built, hardened O/S
This hardware platform supports an aggregate throughput of 12 Gbps, inspection performance of 12 Gbps, event throughput of 50,000 events per second and supports VPN throughput of 3 Gbps. A special team is available for on-site consultation and installation for the 2U series of Barrier1 appliances.
Barrier1 Model 100
Model 100 appliance supports up to four Gbps throughput and features four network interfaces.
Barrier1 Model 200
Model 200 appliance supports up to eight Gbps throughput and features eight network interfaces.
Barrier1 Model 300
Model 300 appliance supports up to 12 Gbps throughput and features 12 network interfaces.
